About me
My technical interest is on the range of image and video processing, machine learning and computer vision. I am currently working with Object detection & tracking, and Vision & language reasoning.
I studied Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours Program) at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2019 and graduated with First Class Honours (Rank #1 in the university). I am currently a Ph.D. student at Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute, Deakin University, Australia.

- 28/06/2023: Our paper Compositional Prompting with Successive Decomposition for Multimodal Language Models is accepted at LLM4AI@KDD 2023.
2022
- 19/10/2022: Our paper Time-Evolving Conditional Character-centric Graphs for Movie Understanding is accepted at TGL@NeurIPS 2022 (Spotlight presentation).
- 19/04/2022: I started my internship in Medmont International Pty Ltd as a Computer Vision Research Intern.

- 29/04/2021: Our paper Hierarchical Object-oriented Spatio-Temporal Reasoning for Video Question Answering is accepted at IJCAI’21.
- 10/04/2021: Our paper Object-Centric Representation Learning for Video Question Answering is accepted at IJCNN’21.
2020
- 08/08/2020: Our new paper “Object-Centric Relational Reasoning for Video Question Answering” is accepted at ECCV 2020 Workshop (Video Turing Test: Toward Human-Level Video Story Understanding 2020).
- 05/02/2020: I started chasing the Ph.D at Applied Artificial Intelligent Institute (A2I2), Deakin University under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Truyen Tran, Dr. Vuong Le, Dr. Thao Minh Le, and Prof. Svetha Venkatesh.
2019
- 19/08/2019: I received the offer letter for a PhD position at Applied Artificial Intelligent Institute (A2I2), Deakin University, with scholarship.
- 07/05/2019: I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree (Rank #1 in the university) from Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam.
